Hello.

Hi, I'm Mike Crank.  I began my career in radio in 1995 at KCXX X-103.9 in my hometown of Riverside, CA. I pursued my radio career across the United States, working in cities like Las Vegas, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Denver, and Los Angeles.

I have worked in LA radio since 2001, when I began as the Commercial Production guy at KROQ. I was soon promoted to Creative Director at KROQ, and then, in 2008, became the Creative Director at 93-1 Jack FM (KCBS) and 94-7 The Wave (KTWV).

I have also been the voice of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA Drag Racing).

In 2011, my co-worker and I wrote a book all about being creative in Radio.  It's called Braindead Creative Help.  And to this day, I'm always searching for new ways to connect radio with the audience.

My wife Krista and I were married in 2000. After much traveling, career-building, and vacationing, our son Ethan was born in 2010. By the way, he also loves talking on a microphone!

I play drums in a fun, local cover band, I'm into kickboxing (classes, not hitting people), I like to go swimming with my son, play guitar badly, and am always ready to check out live music.
